Katy Perry OPI

I love Miss Katy Perry or is that Mrs Brand? and so of course I had to get one of her OPI nail polish. There were two colours I wanted one was 'Teenage Dream" which I found and the second was the black cracking one but I have failed to find that as yet. But I am more than happy with Teenage dream its such a pretty colour and it really reminds me of Katy and her style. So here are the picks of it on my nails. I did put another colour under the OPI polish I think it was from target I got it for Christmas as a gift it was 5 pack of polishes

So here are the pics

I almost forgot Savior 3

Savior 3 is my new hairdresser Renee. She did a fantastic job at cutting my hair to help hide the dead ends and suggested the best products for me to use. I'm very very happy

Savior 2 Moroccan oil

This stuff is MAJOR! I thought yeah yeah just hype what so good about this stuff I'm never gonna try that. But when you as desperate to help you hair as I am you will try anything!!!
So Moroccan oil is the brand name and Argan oil is the actual oil used in the products. According to wikipedia Argan oil is an oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree, unique to Morocco, that is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties. The oil is said to have restorative and age-defying effects. It is high in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it is believed to help all sorts of skin conditions: dry skin, acne, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles. It strengthens and helps restore damaged hair

So the product on the right is Babyliss Pro Argan oil. This is the 1st argan oil product I used. In the stress of my disaster at the hairdressers she though lets try this stuff. So she used it on my hair before drying my hair. The next day when I went to a second hair dresser she had it there and I just thought grab it try anything. I loved it from the 1st use! The smell is incredible Ilove it! and my hair felt great. I know oil on hair you think that's got to weigh it down but it doesn't. I have also been using a heap of it like a night treatment before go to bed when I know I'm going to wash it the next morning. I love this product I cant say a bad thing about it

The 2nd two products I'm about to try are the two in the left. I was sitting watching TVSN (shopping network on Foxtel) and found a whole show on silk oil of morocco products so I bought their  version of the oil and the heat protectant. They too smell fantastic. So I'm really looking forward to using them.

Look I know theses products can be pricy I got the 1st one for $35AU and the 2nd two for &70AU I think if I remember correctly. But seriously I recommend them once you try argan oil you will never be with out it.

Savior 1 Keune

So 3 things got me out of my Hair Funk These products are 1 of Three

These are the Keune care line for porous dry hair.
I love these! Ihe shampoo is light and gentle it doesn't dry out your hair so it doesn't get knotty after you wash it. the conditioner is soft and gental to helps de-tangle my hair (not that its to tangled thanks to the shampoo) And the treatment is fantastic and only 3mins processing time makes things easy
so here's a snippet of what their website says about the products

Shampoo: "A mild cleansing shampoo utilising Essential Minerals, proteins & Pro vitamin B5 to nourish damaged structures of the hair & regulate moisture balance".

Conditioner : "Regenerates the moisture balance of Dry, Porous & Damaged hair. Utilising Pro vitamin B5 to penetrate deeply into the hair shaft & restore the moisture balance & shea butter to add conditioner & shine."

Treatment: "Restores fragile, extremely dry & damaged hair. Wheat Micro Proteins penetrate the hair to the medulla to restore the inner structure & assist it in regaining strength. Keravis strengthens the inside and out of the hair, leaving the hair soft, shiny & easy to detangle. Does not add weight to the hair & has a processing time of only 3 minutes"

So far I have only found the products for sale in my new hairdressers salon and online but I will continue to keep a look out for them cause I will defiantly be re-purchasing

OMG what happened to my hair!

I haven't blogged in a while. I've been very busy and  now I just have so much to say! 1st of all I will talk about my hair.
OMG my hair died! (I'm very dramatic I know)
So I decided to continue on the road to blonde hair.  MAJOR Fail!
So I WAS going to a hairdressers house to get my hair done, she has a little salon set up in her house. Now on the day of my appointment it was 40 degrees so very very hot! We used a streaking cap as usual and put the dye on the ends a little longer than the rest due to the ends of my hair being black (as usual). Then after 10mins processing time at the roots and around 30 mins on the ends we washed it out. And BAM ends burn dead and falling out in clumps!
I noticed it straight away and I'm sure my hairdresser did too but nothing was said. I was so upset I just didn't want to blow my stack and I think she was just freaking out!

That night I was devastated I couldn't eat I felt sick....... haha No but seriously I had been growing my hair and she chopped it to try and cover up the mistake (which didn't work) so I was pretty upset about the whole thing but at least I liked the colour. My husband made a great suggestion, to go to his hairdresser in the morning and get my hair sorted.
So I did she cut it more and suggested products to fix it up and she was right! The products I use now are fantastic. my hair feels great I can run my fingers through it without feeling it break.
So here are before and after shots

Before (see how sad I look)

And After (much happier)
